Victorian Arm Chair complete re-build

£0.00

This Victorian armchair was upholstered from the frame up to create a piece that will outlast its owner. We had to knock the frame apart and reglue it and in parts add extra wood to damaged parts of the frame. I also replicated one of the legs as they weren’t matching. The chair was then sprung up with coil springs and upholstered in horsehair and coir using traditional techniques. The fabric is Hawaiian bark cloth made from cotton.

This chair required 7-8 metres of fabric. * Where a client supplies their own fabric a surcharge may be added to the cost.
